Abstract

The purpose of this task is to present and study the importance of the speakers service "Voice Pocinhos" as a cultural element and historic of Pocinhos‟ city- PB. Thus, we discuss how this medium has contributed to the economic, social and cultural political development of this county. In addition, we analyze its foundation, musical programming and information, as well as the events that were organized and those who had the participation of "Pocinhos‟ Voice". Questioning how the population uses this service since its foundation in 1950‟s until the year 2013, the period corresponding to the research to experience through practices and representations of the urban space. As a as a theoretical contribution, we base ourselves in Maurice Halbwachs (2003) Michel de Certeau (2012) Roger Chartier (1990) and Sandra Jatahy Pesavento (2003). In preparing this report, we use as a primary source, oral accounts trailers memories to other sources such as photographs and some journals that circulated in the city during the study period.
