Resumo:
This research aims to analyze how music can be one of the forms of naturalization and propagation of racism in society by representing black women through stereotypes, depreciating and lowering their hair, a characteristic distinct from their ancestry. The object of our investigation will consist of three songs from different periods (1942, 1985, 2011), addressing the context of their production and how they expose the idea of "nêga do cabelo duro", relating such compositions to the discussions on racial equality and ethnic and manifestations of racism in Brazil.
