Resumo:
This paper will seek to examine how orality is discussed in textbook Portuguese language
"Portuguese: Languages" William Robert Cereja and Thereza Cochar Magalhães (Basic
Education II), from the criteria listed by the National Textbook Program (PNLD - 2011) to work
with orality, also analyzing proposed activities with oral language inserted in the respective
material. How we use theoretical authors as Marcuschi (2001), Schneuwly and Dolz (2004),
among others, in addition to official documents as the National Curriculum Parameters (1997,
2001) and the Guide Textbook (2011). We conclude, through analysis, that the textbook in
question points to a valuation minimally oral language thus meeting the criteria listed in the
PNLD - 2011 to work with orality.
