Resumen:
This study aims to examine the interdiscursive relationships between the Bill
122/2006, also known as Bill Anti-Homophobia, and two newspaper articles relating
thereto, written by Dr. Uziel Santana, jurist and Christian teacher from Sergipe. To
this end, we start from the assumption that, in such articles, the subject produces
senses, through the reconstruction of concepts such as homophobia and democracy
in order to reaffirm its position of resistance to the Bill. Then, at first, we will build on
the theoretical concepts of subject position and interdiscursivity, arising Discourse
Analysis. Then we select clippings and textual sequences of items chosen for them
to analyze which positions are taken by the subject, and how they present
interdiscursive relations between Bill 122/2006 and the articles. Finally, we'll
investigate how the discursive memory of the Bill 122/2006 takes place in the
