Resumo:
This research aims to analyze the book Cobras e Lagartos of Wania Amarante, from the
collection of PNBE/2014 and suggest a methodological approach to work for the classroom.
And, specifically, look at what the proposed National Plan School Library to subsidize the work
with literary texts in the classroom; to analyze stylistically the book Cobras e Lagartos, of
Wania Amarante and propose a methodological approach to arouse students' interest in the early
years of elementary school. The theoretical framework that guided our research was divided
into three stages: in the first stage, it was necessary to highlight the importance of poetry for
children's literature, several were studied authors, among them we can mention Bordini (1986),
Rabbit (1991), Alves (2012), and Cosson (2014); in the second stage, we reflect on the call
notice for registration of works of literary National Library Program School (PNBE), and then
discussed about what evidences the 2014 collection, the announcement and, still on this topic,
the specific achievements of the early years of elementary school – how was the selection
process for this year; for this, we used Brazil (2014). In the last stage, we analyze the book
Cobras e Lagartos, from the referred program; for this analysis, we also evidenced the presence
of animals in children's literature and lay hold of some methodological approaches of nursery
rhymes for the book analyzed in the classroom. We based ourselves, among others, in Held
(1980). Perceive that the analyzed poems were designed to point the aesthetic value of the
poems and the closeness that the poems have with the universe of animals, with the intention
to sharpen the children's attention.
