Resumo:
Camoes poetry is marked by a deep religiousness, both pagan and Christian origin, and often
the poet can explain to both at the same time in the same text. This work is to analyze and
discuss about the explicit Christian intertextual features in some points of Camoes lyric,
therefore , we hope to understand a little more like the poet Luis Vaz de Camoes learned also
represent in his literary creation his deep religious knowledge and, above all , their
commitment and their beliefs. At a time when the church goes through serious problems,
during which the philosophy and the art turned to the classical paganism and
anthropocentrism, leaving theocentrism. Also addressing their integration in the Portuguese
poetry, the literary phenomenon known as intertextuality, in order to show how Camoes
dialogue with the biblical text, assigning them other senses, especially those related to the
worldview derived from Platonic thought.
