Otimização de um sistema de ônibus urbano utilizando simulação digital.

Abstract

In this study a simulation model in GPSS programming language has been devei oped for the optimization of an urban bus route sys tem. The appli cati on of the model nas been demonstred for a road network wi th a hypothetical passenger demand utilizing two different types of routes assignments and different bus capacities. The model can be appli ed to simulate different set of routes and by compa ring the ir performance one can achieve an óptima! set of bus routes for the system.
