Resumo:
The objective is a reflection of the experience of internship in Collective Health carried out in
a Basic Health Unit through the use of vignettes that refer to moments that helped the
reflection involved with the training in nutrition in the work context and the development of
food and nutrition actions nutrition together with a health unit and its team of professionals
from different categories. This is a study with a qualitative design through participant
observation of the researcher. The internship scenario that was followed for this work is
inserted in this place next to the Basic Health Unit in the municipality of Nova Floresta,
Paraíba. The Supervised Internship in Public Health is carried out in the seventh period of the
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, at the Education and Health Center of the Federal University
of Campina Grande, in different municipalities in the State of Paraíba. The internship lasted
seven weeks with a workload of 225 hours. The activities developed are the recognition of the
internship field in the first weeks, all assignments and health services, work organization and
professionals were presented by the Primary Care nurse. On the first day, the weekly working
hours and the public that was served in that community were clarified with the preceptor. The
construction of a vignette is close to the recording of a scene using the participant observation
contained in qualitative research approaches. The content was analyzed from the
identification and formulation of vignettes of the daily life observed. Vignettes were
produced, and these were organized into six daily vignettes with passages on reflections of the
most striking events of the experience and experience of the Supervised Internship in
Collective Health. The practice of supervised internship is important because it enables and
experiences the encounter between the theory built during academic training and the practice
experienced in the internship place. Through this, the graduating student will develop a more
cautious and judicious view of the powers exercised of communication and influence on the
people of that place and with that comes the development of their training as a future
professional capable of acting and dealing with efficiency and responsibility in the Unified
Health System. promoting significant change in people's lives.
