Abstract:
The social isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has driven same teachers to rethink the
teaching of piano and keyboard, leading them to adapt the digital learning environment for
online classes. During this period, I shared recordings of classes at different technical levels on
the instrument, which is why I prepared this work, which aims to report this experience
conducted from June 2021 to February 2022, in which they were prepared and made available
video classes and lives for piano and keyboard students and students. For that, I adapted a room
in my house, transforming it into a Home Studio, with low-cost materials, such as PVC pipe,
allowing the recording of video lessons with good editing quality. We emphasize the use of
WhatsApp and other social network applications to share video lessons and specific studies for
piano and keyboard learning. For that, I adapted a room in my house, transforming it into a

theoretical framework of this work, we dialogue with sundry authors, such as: Câmara (2021),
Ghon (2013) Lobato (2018) Porto, Oliveira, and Chagas (2017), Barros (2020), among others,
which address the use of technology in school education and music education. For the collection
of empirical data, a semi-structured questionnaire was conducted with 30 participants of the
WhatsApp group. As a result, it is verified that the video lessons and studies, made available
on social networks, effectively contributed to the learning of piano and keyboard.
