Abstract:
Modern organizations need an effective management system, using management pratices as indispensable tool to obtain favorable results through real Solutions, with a view for achieving the strategic balance of their actions. For to take these points it is necessary 10 meet the overall objective of research is: compare the management pratices used in decision - making by managers of micro and small companies of clothing in the city of Pombal / PB. The methodology of the survey highlights that the study, should be considered as qualitative and quantitative research, literature and field study and be characterized with a descriptive and exploratory research. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire, apptied on a sample of 70 micro and small companies of the Pombal-PB. Being non - probability, accessibility and convenience, of those companies surveyed 62 answered the questionnaire. This study denotes the replication of applied research in the year 2006 by Carvalho et al. As statistical Processing was performed a descriptive anaiysis of data through the use of spreadsheets. Some results showed that there was a regression in current research in respect of the year 2006, both in the question related to the resources used to support business management decisions, in which there was reduction in use on all resources, as management pratices used by companies, where it was found that both the management reports prepared manually, as regards the computerized obtained small indexes, and considered a factor of concern, because in a span of 5 years, shoutcThave been a subsfaníiaiincrease in the use of these tools, useful and necessary to achieve optimal business performance. Regarding the use of computers and internet access, managers of MPE's of Pombal-PB must become aware that these tools will only bring benefits and aggrandizement of their business through truthful information that contribute to a correct decision - making. Companies need to invest more ín their díàgnostfcs, through the an goíng realízatíon of the anaiysis of your business, based on understanding and using correct pratices and management reports, as this allows the exact demonstration of the company, in order to collaborate in the elaboration of strategies that have as their goal, to achieve the best results possible.
