Resumo:
This article presents an experience with the Lesson Study (LS) methodology
during the experience in the Mathematics Pedagogical Residency Program, which is
part of the initial teacher training. LS follows some steps for its realization, such as
lesson planning, execution and subsequent reflection. We aimed to analyze the
reflections of the application of the Criminal Math Game: a crime in the pyramids, with
a 1st year high school class, through LS. Furthermore, the research methodology used
was of a qualitative nature. The results point to some points of the planning that could
not be implemented, such as the issue of time and difficulties of the students that were
not anticipated. However, the objective of the class was achieved, as they understood
the content of the Thales Theorem. With the reflections it was concluded that the game
contributed to understanding and the class was fun, but there must be modifications
for future applications.
