Resumen:
The present study had as its maifts purpose topromote analytical methodology and research data representation over the parameters of furrow irrigation which allow
us to define in a quick way in the field , the basic data fot the handling of the irrigation to the level of fractions. The work was developed in an oxisol of the Experimental Station of the Irrigation Project in Bebedouro, belonging to the Research Center in Agriculture and Cattle Raising in the Semi-Arid- Tropic, (CPATSA/EMBRAPA) in Petrolina, State of Pernambuco. In developing this methodology we described: The Field Capacity, Permanent Wilting Point , Apparent Density, Water Retention Curve, Soil Infiltration Curve at 50% of Available Water, Outline of Soil Humidity, Advance Curves for the slopes of 0,23%; 0,43 and 0,66% with the outflow of 0,5, 1,0', 2,0 and 2,8 litres / sec, 0,5 0,7S, 1,0
and 1,5 litres / sec , and 0,5 0,75-, 1,0 and 1,3 litres / sec réspectively. The analysis of the results has shown that the greater efficiency for the outflow slope for this soil is 1,0 1/sec for, 0,234; 0,75 1/sec for 0,43% and 0,5 1/sec for 0,66%. The field capacity and the permanent wilting point were analysed to answer the question, what's the amount
of water to be used. The graphs have been drawn for the use of extension workers in order to find ont amount of water to be applied and its application. The use of nomograms
, had as basis, the effective depth of the root systeiri as a function of the fenelogical cycle the liquid blade of water in the soil at certain depth, the iriost efficient out flow in relations to the slope, the efficiency of the applications for different combinations of uotflow slope in relation to the length of the furrows and the irrigation time as a function of the brute blade and the length of the furrows, respectively. This methodology may extended and used in
other soils.
