Abstract:
In this work the focus is on a bibliographic review of the applications of complex numbers on
the theorems of Menelaus and Ceva, these theorems well known in the field of mathematics.
The applications of the points of these theorems using the parameterization of complexes is still
little seen in our daily lives, but which is very interesting when applied correctly, the
combination of complexes with flat Euclidean geometry gives rise to new ways of using
mathematics. Therefore, beforehand in this work we will first talk about the history of how the
whole set was developed, from the first problems of roots of negative numbers presented in
mathematics to the present day. Afterwards, it was necessary to highlight the properties that
make up the numerical set and some concepts of flat Euclidean geometry.
