Resumen:
The packaging is a crucial factor in attracting customers and enhancing brand value. The purpose of this study was to develop a 2-in-1 packaging that would serve the dual purpose of transportation and product display while also promoting the local culture. The methodology involved a step-by-step approach by Gui Bonsiepe, which included
research, ideation, prototyping, and testing. The study aimed to create a packaging solution that not only protects the product during transportation but also highlights the local culture and values. The research focused on identifying the key elements of the local culture that would resonate with the target audience. Through ideation and prototyping,
packaging solution was developed, which effectively served both purposes. The proposed packaging solution was designed to be lightweight, durable, and attractive. The product would be secured during transportation, and upon arrival, the packaging could be transformed into an eyecatching display that would promote the local culture. Testing was conducted to ensure that the proposed solution met the objectives of the study. In conclusion, the 2-in-1 packaging solution developed in this study serves as a promising alternative for transporting and showcasing products, while promoting local culture. The solution addresses the needs of the customers and provides a new way to enhance the value of the product.
