Label design analysis is an important area of visual communication, which aims to
convey relevant information and attract the attention of the target audience. In the context of alcoholic beverages such cachaça, label design is particularly important, as it must be able to convey information about the type of cachaça and its connection with the culture and history of the region. In this research, the state of Paraíba is chosen as the study context due to its long tradition in the production of cachaça and the presence of several distilleries and renowned brands. The methodology used in this study involves the analysis of 10 cachaça labels existing in Paraíba, in order to investigate the way in which they present clear and attractive information about cachaça. For this, individual concepts and elements present in each label are considered, in order to understand how they obeyed their image and personality. With this, it is expected to highlight the importance of label design in visual communication and its influence on a brand.
