Sociologia e cinema: um guia pedagógico para o ensino médio.

Abstract

The main objective of this work was to demonstrate the possibility of using short film audiovisual material in Sociology classes based on the preparation of lessons. To this end, a documentary study of two of the main norms that govern Brazilian secondary education was developed, namely the BNCC and the OCN's about sociological knowledge applied to this category of education, in addition to the use of other studies that are references in the area. Audio-visual materials (short films) were also taken from Youtube, which were associated with theories, themes and concepts of Sociology that can be applied in the classroom. The main contribution of this work was the elaboration of 05 (five) lessons that guide teachers in the use of audiovisual in the classroom, such instruments have the following materials and theories as follows: Lesson 1 – Vida Maria, associated with Pierre's theory Bourdieu dealing with symbolic violence; Lesson II - Are you lost in the world, like me?, linked to Zygmunt Bauman's theory about liquid modernity; Lesson III - The impossible dream, related to Simone de Beauvoir's theory about the second sex; Lesson IV – Choices, correlated with Émile Durkheim's theory regarding the social fact and Lesson V – Employment, linked to Karl Marx's theory of alienation of work. Such materials have the main purpose of collaborating for a better didactic transposition of sociological knowledge in order to facilitate the teacher's work and increase students' interest in Sociology. The main references used in this work were the BNCC and OCN's legislation, and also the studies carried out by: Rocha (2020); Oliveira (2019) and Napolitano (2003).
