Resumen:
In structural projects, the proper choice of slab type is of paramount importance.
importance when looking for structural efficiency and cost reduction. In that
sense, in general, solid and ribbed slab solutions are commonly
adopted in small and medium-sized residential works, as well as high-rise buildings.
multiple floors. However, it is observed that these solutions have
different characteristics between them, which can highlight the weight
high, big
consumption of concrete, steel and formwork, as well as limitations of existing services
in each region. The aim of this work is to present a feasibility comparison
economical in the use of solid slab, ribbed with trussed and ribbed joists
with plastic buckets for a townhouse located in the municipality of PombalPB.
With
with the aid of the Eberick software, it was possible to obtain the quantities of energy consumption
concrete, steel and forms. Input cost data were collected in the
municipality of Pombal - PB and nearby regions. Among the three models of slabs
studied, the ribbed slab with lattice beams proved to be
more economical and
efficient, showing a reduction in costs of 14.80%, in relation to the model
with massive slab. The same conclusion applies in relation to the loads transmitted to the
foundations, where the model with lattice slab presented a transmission 6.31%
smaller when compared to the solid slab model.
