Abstract

Biographical literature and cinema can conceive different forms of representations. Based on this assumption, the present work seeks to show how the actions of the female public, more precisely within the Red Army, are represented in the books: Lyudmila Pavlichenko: Stalin's sniper and War does not have a woman's face, and in the film: The Battle of Sevastopol. From this, the objective is to make a historical analysis of the participation of women in war, analyzing as an initial basis the conditions of Russian women and considering the stereotypes that exist in that society. In addition, the research aims to give greater prominence to those characters who are outside the best known part of historiography, opening space for less heard voices, attributing due historiographic value to the roles assumed by them.
