Resumen:
The study in question, which is entitled: The integral education of the subject: socioemotional
competences in evidence, seeks to deepen knowledge about emotions as part of the wholeness of the human being. The general objective is to analyze the relevance of social and emotional competences as a contribution to the development of integral education. We also sought to investigate how educators, specifically Kindergarten teachers, have carried out their pedagogical work with social and emotional competences with a view to the integral development of the child. The methodology used is basic in nature and its approach is qualitative. Regarding the type of research, a field research was carried out, with an exploratory character. For the production of data, the observation technique was used. As for the results, it can be reported that there is a significant gap in teacher training, since it was possible to identify the lack of knowledge about the relevance of emotions in the personal and academic lives of students and, furthermore, there was no intentional work on socioemotional competencies through pedagogical practices.
