Gender violence is a serious and persistent problem that is discussed in contemporary society. Establishing a look at the direction of the aggressor, the approach to a reflective gender group with male perpetrators of violence concerns the construction of an ethical-political goal, founded with the aim of breaking with the
various types of violence against women. It consists of bringing the man to the heart of the discussion, considering him as a figure that is essential for the construction of an effective public policy for the prevention of new crimes through the process of accountability and reeducation of violent behavior. In this sense, the present research had the general objective of analyzing the impact of the application of reflexive gender groups in the process of re-education and accountability of male perpetrators of violence. the proposed objective, the present bibliographic and documentary work adopted the deductive approach method, seeking to approach the theme from a qualitative research. From the study carried out, it was understood that working as genderreflective groups, in addition to reducing the rates of recidivism in conduct of violence against women, also reach the intricacies of the patriarchal and sexist construction still socially perceived, deconstructing the normalizing aspects. of violence and gender inequalities, without forgetting the process of accountability and re-education of perpetrators of violence through awareness and tensioning of the social roles in dispute. In this way, it is perceived the need for an effective public policy to combat the numerous violence against women that involves the use of gender-reflective groups as an additional instrument in the formation of a more egalitarian world.
