Abstract:
Due to the continuous development and improvement of beef cattle farming in the current scenario, it is necessary to develop tools that assist in managing the large amount of data generated during the processes that occur throughout the activity. Considering that information management is crucial in all sectors, and in the case of a productive system, it becomes even more important as it will ensure the sustainability of the business. This study aimed to develop a management system that will be used as a management tool for beef feedlot systems, using Microsoft Excel software. In order to assist in data input, control, tracking, processing, and sharing of data related to the feedlot system, tabs were created which, after being populated in the data input phase, present management reports with information related to animal performance, inputs, and finance. The system was tested in a beef cattle feedlot in the city of Serra Branca - PB, where it was successfully used, and can be adapted to continue to improve for future demands.
