Résumé:
There is a prevalence of specific didactics in teacher training courses of Natural Sciences
such as Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Physics. Thus, there is little appreciation in
disciplines of teaching and learning. This work aimed to investigate 61 students`
(classroom teacher candidates) perceptions on influences of teaching and learning
disciplines in initial teacher training. During six months (Jul/2022 – Nov/2022) a
qualitative and quantitative research was carried out, and an instrument to gather data was
made based on Likert (1932). Data were organized in charts and figures and the main
results indicated an existence of an appreciation of the specific subjects of the three
courses, and a devaluation of Science Education contents, both by the students and the
professors. Despite these results, students assumed there are positive contributions
provided by these last contents to their training.
