Pedras no caminho: O papel da mídia(DES) construção das representações da população da cracolândia-SP pelos habitantes da cidade de Sousa-PB

Abstract

This currently job intends to adress Cracolandia located in São Paulo city stage of great hoax and prejudices raised durins years, as well as people who live in the neighborhood, that majority of whom are chemically dependent, away from their families, they are at mercy of project and plans from the government of that city that has been silent to solve the problem who affect hundreds of people that live around the area. The objective of the study is demonstrate how the media interfere and mould the thoughts of the people, about: What is it? What happened in the area? mainly the Sousa's-PB citizens, beyond the analysis of the material distributed by the media. To perform this reseach was used qualitative and explanatory method, using a bibliographic review to deepen in the theme beyond the application of interviews to Sousa's citizens and Social Workers to the answers have a professional tenor, therefore was applyed a consent form. When analyzing the data obtained from a bibliographical review a large number of materials available and distributed by the media was observed who at a first glance can not spread what really are Cracolandia and reasons why they did the pleople who live in that place get into this situation. In the interviews it was observed diferent answers questioning the extent to which the media has the power to disseminate and inform the truth.
