Resumo:
The present work refers to artistic-cultural actions applied to the teaching of the periodic table in basic education, which aims to dynamize the study of the chemical elements in the Periodic Table, thus constructing the knowledge in an interactive and spontaneous way, already as specific objectives, the same has the following: Understand the arrangement of the chemical elements in their respective groups and periods through the painted and enlarged art of the periodic table on one of the walls of the school; To promote a debate in the classroom with the intention of instigating the students to deepen their studies on how the chemical elements were arranged by Mendeleiev in the periodic table; To understand through the art and the staging the fundamental role of the Periodic Table; To advise the students about the importance of studying the periodic table with the use of Artistic-Cultural Actions in Basic Education and the relationship of the chemical elements with the daily life of the student. The research instrument revolves around questionnaires made from didactic-pedagogical interventions in the classroom. The obtained data were analyzed and transformed into graphs for a greater understanding. The results of the research showed that changing and innovating in classroom methodologies is the first step towards a meaningful teaching and learning process.
