Playful is an important ally for teachers and can be used in the classroom as an important educational tool. The present work talks about how the playful education that can collaborate for the integral development of the child in the early years in several aspects. The general objective of the research is to investigate the contributions that the Playful Education offers for the integral development of the child of four to five years in the Early Childhood Education. The specific objectives are: 1) Research the history of Playful Education in Early Childhood Education; 2) analyze the laws that guide pedagogical practice in Early Childhood Education related to play activities; 3) analyze whether the
Playful Education offered to children contributes to their integral development. In the theoretical framework, it first addresses the way of understanding the contributions of Playful Education to the child's development and a brief history of Playful Education from a bibliographic study based on laws, also presents the relationship of how playing helps in the integral development of child. In this research, data collection was done through a Semistructured interview and observation of the practice of children's play activities in the courtyard and in the classroom. According to the data collected and analyzed, it was proved that playful education has been making a positive contribution to the integral development of children in the initial grades, as well as it is essential that playful teaching takes place effectively in schools.
