Abstract

This article comes from a program (set of 3 projects) to deal with the relationship between Big Data and Administration. As recorded in our section on ethnomethodological concepts, the approach to “Big Data” can be divided into at least 3 paths in the process of a Business TC in this instance of Bachelor's Degree. First, it can be treated very superficially, in the sense of making it possible to intuit some understanding of the techniques, mainly from bibliographical research. Second, there is the possibility of diving into programming, a programming language, for which it is necessary to at least deal with Python or R and some critical apparatus for not just “programming”. Third, there is a broad apparatus for understanding the social sciences and the humanities, in the context of technopolitics for this field. We were led to try a little on the third course. For this, we performed an ethnomethodological orientation autethnography. Our narrative, which we also explain in the introduction the reasons for the formats, follows a process of moving towards a meeting with evaluation and discussion. We talk about the integration of the technique in the process of learning and professional placement and the association between these experiences and the Business Administration course at UFCG, Sousa. We conclude by bringing affirmations and questions to give continuity to this process, among these notes perhaps the fundamental question is, how the university, a Business Administration course more specifically, can be associated with this technical experience of the students and enhance the possibilities of professional performance in their several areas?
