Résumé:
Due to the implementation of emergency remote teaching, many doubts regarding this modality have arisen and are the subject of several discussions and reflections. The present work aims to analyze the difficulties faced by geography teachers and students during remote teaching due to the covid-19 pandemic, in 2020. To discuss the methodological practices adopted by teachers during this period, as well as to examine what were the consequences for the teaching of Geography. The methodology used in the development of this study occurred through a qualitative and quantitative research based on a case study, as a methodological tool a questionnaire was used at the EMEF Decisão school, located in the municipality of Pombal - PB, with an eighth grade class of the institution and an interview with a Geography teacher that aimed to analyze the different contexts and problems that occurred during classes and development of contents. From this research, it was possible to detect how the pandemic affected the learning of these students, since unequal access to methodological tools, unstable internet or other socioeconomic factors were daily barriers throughout the school day.
