Resumo:
This study aims to provide an efficient work methodology in the areas of reading, literature, and orality, since these languages present a teaching delay in several Brazilian schools, for this, is proposed the use of the RPG (role-playing game) linked to a literary literacy proposal, as a pedagogical tool capable to exercise the aforementioned languages and involve students through playful and fun activities. Proceeding with this conjecture, we elaborated as a general objective to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the RPG as a pedagogical tool for the Portuguese Language classes, and to reach it we listed as specific objectives: to present the benefits of the use of the RPG in the classroom; illustrate the relationship between literature and RPG, to insert the student in the literary universe in a spontaneous and fun way; operate with orality broadly and efficiently through literary literacy and RPG and propose a didactic sequence for teaching literature based on RPG. As an applied methodology, this research is configured as a descriptive-explanatory study, with its data collection resulting in a bibliographical approach. As observed results, it was possible to confirm the effectiveness of the RPG in attracting the student's attention to the school activity proposed by the game, in addition to exercising the areas of creativity, persuasion, teamwork, interdisciplinarity, active position in learning, critical literary reading, orality and interpersonal communication. As for the authors co-opted for the theoretical foundation, Marcatto (1996); Cosson (2021); BNCC (2018); Antunes (2003); Fleith (2001); Pavão (2000); Galvão e Azevedo (2015); Citelli (2002); Fávero, Andrade and Aquino (2012); Vasques (2008); Silva (2020); Peruzzo (2011); Araújo and Fonseca (2005); Justo, Pereira and Lima (2017); Zamariam (2017) and Oliveira (2020). At the end of this research, it was possible to conclude the potential that RPG has in teaching academic content and seducing students with its application. Through an organized and well-structured proposal, the apprehension of school knowledge can be achieved through this game, which also allows the learning of a range of other skills. As a contribution to future researches, this study can serve as a basis for deepening notions linked to RPG, explained throughout the text.
