Resumo:
The main objective of this study is to understand and approach the theory of pragmatics
regarding the Principle of Cooperation and the podcast genre in order to develop a class
proposal that will provide Elementary School II students with the improvement of efficient
social communicative skills. This is a bibliographical and documentary research, since we use
books and documents, such as the “Base Nacional Comum Curricular” (BNCC, 2018). We
also had as theoretical support the approaches of the book "Portuguese Class", by Irandé
Antunes (2003), which will demonstrate how to follow the field of orality, its applications and
how to be a teacher who seeks a more qualified interaction of the students. For the concept of
pragmatics, the "Manual of Semantics", by Márcia Cançado (2020), is used, which explains
the pragmatics and the theory of the principle of cooperation and its maxims. For the study of
speech genres, we base ourselves on the work "Aesthetics of Verbal Creation", by Mikhail
Bakhtin (1997). Three workshops were developed in which we worked on the theories
studied: workshop 1 – approach to the podcast genre and its characteristics; workshop 2 –
explanation of the theory of the principle of cooperation and conversational maxims, and
workshop 3 – the work and the set of theories and genre for the elaboration of a school
podcast. These workshops are a class proposal that aims to develop social and professional
communicative skills. Regarding the results, we obtained an understanding of the theories
discussed here, an understanding of the importance of the podcast genre in the classroom and
the elaboration of the lesson proposal. In this proposal, we note the need for schools to get
involved in encouraging social communication, including the moderator teacher who brings
the student to effectively participate in the preparation of classes. With that in mind, we aim
to encourage, in the said proposal, the complete interaction of students from the beginning to
the end of classes, with the aim of intensifying the skills that the BNCC defends so much.
When approaching oral discursive genres, we must pay attention to their three fundamental
characteristics: thematic content, style and compositional construction. From the podcast
genre, we understand the needs, characteristics and types that complete this genre and its
means of use that provided us with the elaboration of the proposal of the classes that resulted
in the resolution of the proposal. From the study carried out, we learned that the objective of
the hypothesis is possible and viable, that is: the development of efficient communicative
competences of the students. Working with the workshops presented, the teacher will be able
to have methods that teach orality, writing, which, according to Antunes, should not be
separated, finally arriving at the notion of teaching these themes in a complete way. Thus, it
can be reported that this work provides knowledge of theories, of the discourse genre and
enables didactic classes resulting from the study in which we intend to involve students in the
elaborations of each activity in a way that gives them an experimental and social framework.
