Resumen:
In the school context, the textbook contains an important contribution for the students’ learning. In many cases, it is the single supportthat makes the student to have the contact with many textual genres. Even knowing that the textual genres are materialized kinds of different communicative intentions that daily transit, we looked forward the presence and the approach of textual genres in the Portuguese Language textbook of the Elementary Education II and focusing in the formulaic genres. The highlight to the formulaic genres can be justified for the reasons that they are so presents in the social practices, but relegated for the curriculum and pedagogic supports. We approach pertinent considerations and a brief story about the textbook in Brazil. For this research, we based on the site of the Ministry of National Education as well as we searched to evaluate the proposals of present activities in the textbook and to quantify the presence of textual genres. The main theoretical bases assumed for this work are the Applied Linguistics’ postulates, the theoretical orientations of Bakhtin (2003) and Marcuschi (2008 - 2012). It was adopted the methodology of bibliographic and documental research with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The corpus of this study was constituted from the Teláris Project collection – Portuguese Language, final years of Elementary Education II. The choice was motivated for the collections has been selected by the teacher of municipal education system in São José do Belmonte – PE as the first option to be used for the triennium 2017-2019. In the analysis process of collection was emphasized significant aspects and elements that need improvements about the work with the proposed textual genres to the Portuguese Language teaching. Finally we present a proposal of resizing of activities that broadens the suggested didactic-pedagogical approaches by such collection, underline to some formulaic genres that judged indispensable to a meaningful teaching with the PortugueseLanguage.
