Levantamento das potencialidades turísticas do Boqueirão de Lavras da Mangabeira-CE.

Abstract

The scenic beauty of Boqueirão, located in the municipality of Lavras da Mangabeira (CE), presents an area rich in diversity through its geoenvironmental aspects, in addition to being considered an area of vegetation relic, making it a strong tourist potential, however, which so far it has not been adequately worked on, as well as anthropic actions harm the natural environment through environmental impacts. As a way of re-signifying the study area, the main objective of this work was to carry out a survey of the tourist potential of Boqueirão, aiming at the development of local ecotourism. Using as a theoretical basis the definition of Landscape and its relationship with geographic space, as well as the Geoecology of Landscapes. Also related to the tourism segments that fit the profile of the area: Ecotourism, Sertanejo Tourism and Scientific Tourism. In this way, allowing the site a form of use and occupation that respects environmental conservation, promoting tourist activities, as it contributes to the socioeconomic development of the municipality, which has the potential to become a reference in the aforementioned types of tourism.
