Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present and develop a computacional model of traffic assignment for pratical use. Ingeneral , traffic assignment calculations requires a lot of computer memory and also, much time of computation work. It is, therefore, very important to know how to save necessary computer memory and to make the process more s imple, Thus , this dissertation shows Division Method as an aproximation for the Equal Travei Times Assignment Principie and also consider in the computer program, the route matrix, showed generally by three dimension, represented by two.dimensions.
