Abstract:
The present work deals with the performance of the social assistance network in
facing domestic violence against children and adolescents in the municipality of
Santa Cruz/PB, understanding that the violation of the rights of this group constitutes
one of the expressions of the “social issue”, object of intervention of/the social
workers.daily experience with the professionals of the Social Assistance equipment
for the promotion of the rights of children, adolescents and their families in situations
of vulnerability and social risk.Based on the premise that networking is efficient in
preventing and coping with violence, the care of children and adolescents in
situations of personal and social vulnerability requires the involvement of various
social actors, a multidisciplinary team and the construction of referral services
andcounter-reference, which require articulation and effective integration of
equipment.Thus, it is necessary to understand the role of equipment and workers in
the process of defending and preventing rights, especially with regard to violated
rights.It is important to reveal how the SUAS teams have been acting in an
interdisciplinary context, to guarantee the rights of children and adolescents and their
families, and to systematize the Social Assistance Policy and multidisciplinarity to
face violence against children and adolescents and how it comes about.providing
access to Social Assistance services/benefits for children, adolescents and their
families in the municipality of Santa Cruz/PB.In this work the bibliographic research
will be used and will compose the first part.The second part refers to the
documentary research with quantitative and qualitative analysis, in which some
instruments of the equipment were analyzed, such as the Monthly Service Record
(RMA) of the year 2022. Furthermore, it is understood that from this research it was
possible to measure thelimits and possibilities of networking, namely the
strengthening of violence prevention actions and the lack of care flow for children and
adolescents in situations of violence..
