Abstract

The Information Technology market in Brazil is the 7th world market. In 2010 the IT sector in Pernambuco earned R$ 1 billion. Success stories in the state as the Porto Digital and C.E.S.A.R., have bringing visibility and greater credibility for companies in the region. The entrepreneur, in terms of economic and behavioral conception, acts as an agent of development. In countries like the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, there are programs and projects they propose to develop entrepreneurial education and the identification of individuals with characteristics and entrepreneurial behavior. This study analyzes how important are the attributes that drive student behavior towards entrepreneurship, it being understood that to develop this entrepreneurial behavior with the expertise of higher education institutions, combined with programs and technical and operational support from the government, there is an increased generation of jobs, income and competitive advantage for the country.
