Análise da interrelação entre o sistema de transportes e a estrutura urbana.

Abstract

This essay seeks to show, in a conceptual form, the interrelation between the transport system and urban structure. For this, it utilizes the concepts presented in the analysis of two cities of Paraiba State, João Pessoa and Patos, being the former a médium size city and t h e last, a small one. It shows that the transport system and the utilization of the urban soil are" the "ways" for the realization of several urban activities. So, i t reaches t h e cónclusion, that to guarantee the perfect practice of these activities with alogical system of transport, then, it is necessáry an integrated planning of the system transport with the urban system.
