Résumé:
Transactional analysis is the method that studies and seeks to understand people's thoughts,
feelings and behavior, as well as serving as an instrument of behavioral change. Transactional
analysis is widely used within organizations in order to study and change behaviors,
especially the leader. One of the tools used by transactional analysis is the Ego State. This
article aims to identify the profile of the State of Ego of students from a graduate research
group in production engineering. Using the Egogram tool, for data collection, the
questionnaire was applied to students of a graduate research group in production engineering,
totaling eleven respondents. The results indicated that the predominant Ego State of the group
is the Adult State, being ideal for a working environment, and the less predominant Ego State
is the Critical Parent, only two students presented high scores for this Ego State. It is
concluded that the predominance of the Adult Ego State in the analyzed research group
indicates that this group has an objective and rational mature relationship between them.
