Resumo:
The present work aims to analyze the problem related to the scarcity of water in the city, its
causes and consequences for the population of the seat of the municipality of triumph - PB. In the semi-arid
northeastern the water deficit is associated with long periods of drought, but, however,
through that research it was possible to diagnose other factors responsible for the deficit
of water in the study area, such as the lack of conservation actions and rational use of this resource.
The research procedures were based on the use of the quantitative data method
collected through interviews and forms, through which we sought to draw a
profile of the existing population. The research subjects were 30 inhabitants, who served as
subsidy to understand the conditions in which a portion of the population finds itself
facing the problem on screen. This research involved a bibliographic survey,
data collection and analysis and interpretation. The final results pointed out the
problems related to the availability and quantity of water resources available for the
Triunfense population contingent and the origin of the problem under analysis.
