Resumo:
The electronic voting process in Brazil, using electronic ballot boxes and biometric recognition, brought
facilities and agility to the elections. However, technical problems and lack of transparency have
generated distrust and questions about the correct counting of votes. In this context, electronic voting
machine logs become a valuable source of data, recording all operations carried out by voters and polling
station officials. However, a large portion of the population is unaware of the existence of these logs and
how to access them. This work aims to make it more accessible to obtain and analyze the data stored in
the ballot box logs, available on the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) website. The tool has 4 modules: the
first is responsible for collecting all logs from the election ballot boxes through the use of Web Scraping;
the second performs the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process to make the data structured; the third is
responsible for storing the data; and, finally, the fourth provides a dashboard in which it is possible to
visualize and filter the data of each section with the support of visual tools that facilitate the
interpretation.
