Resumo:
This work seeks to understand the educational practices experienced in the context of some women which practice cure throught blessing, known as rezadeiras, highlighting their uses, functions, characteristics and the contributions of these women to the individual and collective cultural memory of their communities. All this because we believe and believe in the importance of doing popular culture, represented in this work by the rezadeiras, whose preservation of their activities and the inclusion of their actions in school curricula can awaken new perspectives and behaviors on the ground of formal schools. It is a qualitative bibliographical research, so that the necessary data for its composition came from readings of works carried out academically on the theme in question. Even more, support has also come from thinkers who discuss popular culture. We hope that our writing can contribute to the formal understanding of the importance of knowledge produced through popular education practiced by the communities where the school is located.
