Abstract

There is a huge variety of therapeutic resources put into practice in the Communities, one of which is the recurrence of secondary health care outpatient clinics, which are marked by the comings and goings of people seeking care and explanations for their illness processes. That said, here we investigate the care practices in the processes of illness called "Therapeutic Itinerary", from interviews collected in waiting rooms of the Alcides Carneiro University Hospital in Campina Grande – Paraíba, being understood by Therapeutic Itinerary all the followed by a certain clientele, from mourners to pharmacy and medical dispatchers, to the satisfaction of their demands for treatment and the resolution of their clinical problems. To achieve these objectives, it was necessary to use a qualitative research methodology, which consisted mainly of the application of interviews in the outpatient waiting rooms to the participants, with a subsequent analysis of the itinerary followed by them until reaching the outpatient clinics. hospital. With this in mind, the aim is mainly to recover, on the one hand, the experiences of the interviewees, their afflictions, anxieties and strategies of treatment and survival and not so much the clinical aspects of the diseases presented by combining techniques and, on the other hand, expects outpatients, a minimum space of listening and reflection on the psychosocial and health problems inherent in the maladies of illness, which implied in the socio-cultural maturation of the author, thanks to listening to what people can say about their illnesses and, counting their illnesses, talk about themselves.
