Abstract:
With the increasing number of industries, one of the concerns for the environment and for living beings is the contamination of rivers by toxic materials. Currently, there are efficient
adsorption processes in the removal of these toxic materials from water, such as the use of
activated charcoal, but of high cost. Because of this, new adsorption techniques have emerged for the removal of these pollutants and in this sense the use of organic materials as adsorbent
has been gaining a lot of attention from the researchers. The present work is a literature review study whose objective was to analyze the literature of scientific productions on the
subject: lead removal in aqueous solutions using in natura adsorbents: a literature review and evaluate the potentiality of, biosorbents in the treatment of solutions. water containing Lead.
A bibliographical study of publications in journals, TCCs and scientific works was performed. The sample consisted of 11 publications identified in categories: lead removal by adsorbents
and lead adsorption using bioadsorbent.
