Violência intrafamiliar contra crianças e adolescentes : uma análise sobre o trabalho do assistente social em um Conselho Tutelar na Paraíba.

Abstract

The Course Completion Work has the central objective of investigating the incidence of intrafamily violence against children and adolescents in a municipality in Paraíba. It is understood that the term intra-family violence is vast, in which it is worth noting that the consequences of violence suffered by children and adolescents within a family structure are immense, which is based on the centralization of male power over the victims. This research used the qualitative method, bibliography and field research technique, based on the application of an interview with a social worker from the Tutelary Council. During the interview, it was possible to observe how the professional work of the social worker is constituted through the demands of intrafamily violence, verifying the causes, the profile of the victims, aggressors and the intersectoral network. The Course Completion work is supported by the dialectical critical historical method, in this way, seeking to understand the intrafamily violence that affects not only the victim, but the population as a whole, from the recognition of the problem, to indicate proposals for confrontation.
