Abstract

The present work is an attempt to study and rationalize the process of development of Irrigation and Drainage sistems on a regional basis. The process is considered in two parts, naraely, Sistera Plannlng and Project Design. A general methodology for planning is suggested to take into account the various aspects and factors involved. The aspect of Project design is illustrated only for the case of a drainage problem for an experimental area.
