Abstract:
The modernity and technological advances have been great tools helping English Language
teaching and language acquisition, creating situations of a closer studens’s reality. Using these
resources, we can open different teaching segments by working on interdisciplinarity and
multimodal literacy through textual and discursive genres. In this context, this paper objectives,
to develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills with a linguistic-communicative
activity, from the series That ‘70s Show, which portrays themes close to the life context,
according to the age range of the students of the proposed series. Hence, this work had the
theoretical support of documents as PCN (2000); PCN + (2002); In addition to authors such as
: Brown (2007); Leffa (2016); Rajagopalan (2003); Rojo (2012); Oliveira (2013); among others.
Thu, this study is based on a bibliographic research, with analyzes and proposals that aim to
contribute with suggestions for classes with the same follow-up. In the format of the
communicative approach of teaching in a multimodal perspective.
