Resumo:
The present work seeks to observe the constructo of the Portuguese language from its origin until reaching the language spoken in Brazil today, with the aim of perceiving which factors contributed to Portuguese presenting lexical varieties within its vocabulary, as well as highlighting the fact that books didactics, generally, present fragmented and decontextualized contents referring to these variations, not establishing relations between the social situation of the students and their way of using the language. For this, we present the following specific objectives: to highlight the origin of the Latin language; present the influence of the Latin language in the formation of the lexicon of the Portuguese language; discuss how the formation of the Portuguese language occurred and its arrival in Brazil with the variations present in its lexicon; highlight the fact that linguistic prejudice occurs as a certain consequence of the lack of available content; To carry out our work, we used the theoretical contributions of: Bagno (2007), Câmara Júnior (1985), Coutinho (2011), Ilari (1999), Teyssier (2007), among others that help to understand the construction and evolution of the language. In addition, the research has a propositional character, since the proposal of activities elaborated is directed to the 6th year of elementary school, with material to reflect on the linguistic variation of Portuguese in Brazil. For the construction of this work, we opted for a bibliographical research, as written materials such as monographs and books were consulted, with a qualitative approach. Through the evolution of the Portuguese language, we realized which factors influenced the construction of a diverse language with many linguistic varieties.
