Resumo:
The objective of the present work was to develop simulation and optimization models, to assist in the resolution of a problem, which aims at the number of employees that is necessary to carry out the packing process and the reduction of time spent to carry out the separation of orders, in a textile company. For this, Anylogic software was used, which enabled the modeling and simulation of the process and thus carry out studies aimed at continuous improvement. Real data from the company were collected, so that it was possible to apply the simulation model, simulating different scenarios, with variations in time and number of employees. The results of the experiments carried out allowed finding the optimal number of employees to carry out the activity, in addition to allowing the application of continuous improvement in the order picking sector and thus proposing viable improvements.
