Resumo:
Faced with growing morbidity rates due to chronic diseases and causes
the Ministry of Health implemented the National Policy for Attention to
Urgencies (PNAU), as of Ordinance No. 1863/GM on September 29, 2003 with
in order to offer specialized assistance for more complex cases.
The Ministry of Health, with the aim of integrating all health services into the
SUS service, institutes it through Ordinance No. 1600 of July 7, 2011 to
Urgency and Emergency Care Network (RUE) in order to facilitate access to this
service and offering agile, comprehensive and qualified actions to users who
need. Objective: To analyze the demand for care of patients assisted in
an urgency and emergency service of a mixed health unit. Methodology:
This is a documentary and retrospective research with a quantitative approach.
consisting of data collection from documents. The data were analyzed
through descriptive statistics, which consists of a method of analyzing a context
in order to summarize or describe them, without going beyond the information contained therein.
Results: Between January and December 2021, a total of
702 (100%) attendance records, where 364 (51.0%) of this total was carried out for the
female, the prevalent age group was 50 to 59 years. The health problems
predominant cases were systemic arterial hypertension + crisis
hypertensive 161 (22.9%), followed by motorcycle accidents 108 (14.4%).
Discussion: After the injury “Systemic arterial hypertension + hypertensive crises”,
accidents involving motorcycles stand out, corroborating the work of
Medeiros et al. (2023) which characterized the service profile of room users
red from an Emergency Room. In this study, it was seen that motorcyclists were
the public more susceptible to risks and dangerous situations, which increased the demand for
care at health facilities. Conclusion: With regard to the grievance
more prevalent, the need to implement and strengthen practices
educational and awareness campaigns aimed at combating non-communicable chronic diseases
transmissible. In this context, it is worth emphasizing SAH as a preventable condition
with changes in lifestyle and adoption of healthy habits.
