Abstract:
The experiment was conducted in Penedo - Alagoas, under a semi - humid climate, with an average annual precipitation of 1,161 mm and average air temperature of 259C. The objective of the present study was to determine the effects of 6 irrigation regimes on the behavior of 3 varieties and 1 selection of rice (Oryza sativa L.). Thus, the varieties IR-665-4-5-5, SML-5/6 5, Suvale-1-7C, and Selection-10 were subjected to the slides of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 cm of water. The parameters used to evaluate rice behavior were plant height, number of tillers and panicles per pit, fertility of tillers, numbers of spikelets and panicle-filled grains, spikelet fertility, weight of 1,000 grains and grain yield . With the exception of the number of grains per panicle, the weight of 1,000 grains and the fertility of spikelets, the behavior of the different varieties and rice selection tested did not vary significantly with the water slides. Except for the number of grains per panicle, all other parameters varied significantly with the varieties and rice selection.
