Resumo:
The present work is about a pedagogical intervention, carried out from a reading club, with the purpose of working the Brazilian Northeast from the dialogue between Literature and Humanities, specifically Sociology, with high school students of a Technical Integral Citizen School - ECIT José Gonçalves de Queiroz, located in the municipality of Sumé, in Cariri Paraibano. A documental analysis of the curriculum documents and the didactic collection of the National Program of Books and Didactic Materials - PNLD 2021 was done, in order to identify the themes, contents, competencies and abilities for the foundation of the interdisciplinarity proposal in the intervention, a content analysis of the literature books, to identify themes addressed in the teaching of Sociology, and the realization of the pedagogical intervention in the format of a reading club. The club was carried out between March 22 and May 17, 2023, with a total of six meetings, held during the hours of 12:30 to 1:20 pm, in the school library. We carried out readings, discussions and analyses of some classic works of Brazilian/Northeastern literature from the 1930's, namely "Menino de engenho" by José Lins do Rego, "O Quinze" by Rachel de Queiroz and "Vidas Secas" by Graciliano Ramos, bringing historical, geographical and social approaches. The work resulted in the concretization of the proposal of interdisciplinarization and contextualization to know and understand the Northeast, through social, historical and geographical phenomena present in the narratives of the works. It was concluded, then, that it was possible to accomplish the objective of this work, by teaching and learning about the Northeast region with disciplines in dialogue, such as Sociology, History and Geography with the literary works and the individual and social experiences of the students, fulfilling the proposal of contextualization and interdisciplinarization in teaching. The students also revealed their dissatisfaction with the excessive workload in full time education, making them more tired and less productive in the school environment. The work contained some flaws and limitations in its realization, such as the target audience being mostly students considered the best in school performance, the excess of my and the teacher's speeches during some debates, and little delimitation of rules for discussions, the autonomy was not a positive aspect in the dynamics of the club, being important new proposals and research reformulations.
