Resumen:
Introduction: Basic Health Units are constituent parts of the Care Network
Psychosocial (RAPS) and aim to guarantee, articulate, integrate and welcome the user
including those who use psychotropic drugs. In the current context, the use of
psychotropic drugs increased significantly, and with that it is necessary to control and
records of these psychoactive drugs. Objective: To know the practice of UBS in relation to
the use and indications of psychotropic drugs; know the process of construction of the diagnosis
in mental health, facilities and difficulties; identify control and registration practices
of the use of psychotropic drugs in the UBS. Methodology: Through an integrative review
in the literature, based on articles found in the SCIELO databases
(Scientific Electronic Library Online), BVS (Virtual Health Library) and PUBMED,
from 2012 to 2022. Results: the profile of psychotropic users
found in the Basic Health Units in this study were mostly
female, in different age groups. Failure to fill in was identified
of information about the use of psychotropic drugs in the medical records, as well as the lack of
control and registration of psychotropic drugs in Basic Health Units. the prescriptions
of psychotropic drugs were done mostly by general practitioners, without closing
a diagnosis. Conclusion: It is recommended to promote spaces for discussion and
organizational movements in Basic Health Units to perpetuate a
practice of registration and control of these drugs, and thus favor an offer of
greater quality to users in the context, especially of mental health.
